Graduation Celebration, NKOTB Style

A all of you know, I graduated from Lansing Community College in May of this year. having earned my Associates Degree in Business for Hospitality/Food Service Management, through blood, sweat and tears, I felt I deserved a massive celebration. I am not a kid though, so no open house was to be had for me. I decided to take a trip back in January when the perfect idea was presented to me. I flew to Orlando two weeks ago and spent the weekend with some bloggers and their friends and family and had me a wonderful weekend with some fun girls. Highlight? I WENT TO MY FIRST NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK CONCERT! Sure it took me 23 years or so but it was most definitely worth the wait!

When I first arrived and picked up my car (Kia had me review a car!) I drove straight to the first fun activity, jumping at Airheads USA. This is a place with wall-to-wall trampolines! It also has a little arcade and offers food and drink for a fun night with a group! I had never been to a place like it before so it was pretty neat for me

We all got to go in and jump to our hearts content. Now it would seem like it would be real easy, but when you aren’t that active (like me) you go in shock at how much your body is working to keep you bouncing! Still it was really fun! We also got to have some pizza and then we chatted with Lee from My Sentiment Exactlee, I LOVE her! Thank you so much Airheads USA for inviting us!

I stayed at Global Resort Homes again, this time at the Edgewater property, but still in Kissimmee. The home was lovely as usual, and this time I got my own room. Sure, it was the kid room with Mickey and Minnie beds but hey, I slept like a rock in there. They had a giant pool that was just AMAZING too. I got burned in less than an hour, the afternoon before the concert. It was totally worth it though!

Before the concert, we went to Hamburger Mary’s for a bite. I loved it because everyone in that place, at the time, was heading to the concert. They were playing NKOTB videos nonstop on the screens. There was one moment when all the ladies (not kids or teen, middle age women ha!) sang along! After that it was time to head into the concert!

Then, it was showtime! Though there were people in our group that went to the concert just because, and didn’t like it, I screamed and clapped the whole concert, loved every second, every act! I had the TIME OF MY LIFE!

Thank you Global Resort Homes for this video!

I can’t think of a more fun time I have had with my girls, Toni, Lynsey, Maryann, Lee and Mickey, thank you for helping me to celebrate my graduation!
