Amazon Prime Photos Has New features! Plus an opportunity to win a $500 gift card!

As you all know I am a photographer but I also share a LOT of photos, and my phone contains many MANY candid shots from my random world. I have a large memory on my phone but still need to free up space on occasion. I am an Amazon Prime member already and because of this I get free unlimited photo storage as long as I am a member. What’s more, Amazon Prime Photos launched some brand new features that make photo sharing even easier. You can now share your unlimited photo storage with up to five family members with the new Family Vault feature AND you can also now search through the photos by person, place etc. But wait, there’s more! You can also order photo books, prints and more right from your Prime Photos account.

First things first you have to sign up for Amazon Prime if you haven’t already, then you really need to download the Amazon Prime Photos App which is available for iOS and Android phones and tablets. You can access your Prime photos on a computer of course but we all know this is a mobile generation. How neat will it be to snap a pic of your child visiting Santa and have it go straight to your family vault so that the grandparents can see it right away? I heart technology!

Here is a screenshot of the app on my iPhone:

So as you can see if you are like me and have LOT of photos, having unlimited storage for them can be a very good thing! I will admit I am a photo hoarder, I find it hard to mass delete photos, even blurry ones. I think it stems from not having cameras when my middle child was a baby, heck I didn’t get a real camera until 2007! This means that my Amazon Prime Photos collection is pretty extensive and I love it! And right now you can win a $500 Gift Card or one of FIVE 2nd prizes of $100 Gift Cards provided by!
