Stylish Women’s Chef Coats from Chef Uniforms – GIVEAWAY

CHEF UNIFORMS LOGOMy longtime readers know that I started a new journey about 2 years ago. I have put in so many endless hours trying to hone my professional cooking skills in school and at home. One byproduct of trying to become a chef is that companies that work with chefs professionally started asking me to try their wares in hopes of me sharing my thoughts with my readers and also fellow culinary students. I will never forget the time I made my chef try some exotic yuzu juice from a company online. We all had funny faces that time. I also have had the pleasure of trying chef coats. This time I found the perfect one at Chef Uniforms.

But never have I been able to find a chef coat that covers me, looks stylish, and makes me look like a girl and not a box. That is until now. ChefUniforms.com sent me an email one day asking me to try their coats, specifically the women’s selections. I was a leeeeeetle skeptical at first because I had bought a jacket once with my name embroidered on it. It was women’s styling and kind of thin, but it was way too small in the chest. You see they taper the waist on women’s jackets which isn’t normally a problem for most female chefs but this chef has a large chest and small waist. It is very hard to find anything that fits right. I chose to give ChefUniforms a try and holy wow I am glad I did.

I chose the Women’s Traditional Chef Coat with Contrast Piping and Fabric Covered Buttons in black and white. I could have chosen any color but I decided that with my graduation coming soon, I wanted a jacket that could carry me right into my first role as a chef, and you can’t really pull off a colored jacket unless you are the head chef. That won’t be me until I own a restaurant, and since I don’t ever plan to, I want something professional to get me by. I got the jacket personalized and took a leap by having it read Chef Candace Reid. When it arrived, even in the plastic I thought it was beautiful and seeing chef before my name was profound.

The fit, PERFECT and as a bonus it has ties on the back which I can tie behind me to accentuate  my curves even more. I feel professional and more important I feel like a WOMAN! The quality is perfect too it breathes but isn’t so thin that you could see through it

The tie in the back is key, it pulls the sides in for a more feminine look

I will be buying two more jackets, just for me to have and they are going to be the red and black version of this coat and black and hot pink version..
