Ever since my son (almost eight) developed his own opinion, it’s been like pulling teeth to get the kid to eat healthy. There are certain things I cook that he will eat but most of it he won’t even try. Vegetables? HA! He is not underweight but I know for a fact he wasn’t getting the benefits of fruits and veggies over the summer. I’m not forcing a child to eat anything and we don’t have dessert so that doesn’t work. My solution to get more vitamins in this kid? Nature Made® KIDS FIRST® Multivitamin Gummies. We went to out local Target and was able to find them right away! It was kind of nice to just take him alone and not load up everyone. Mommy and son time. We even got a school backpack on this trip! <3

Because they are gummies, my son already liked them more than previous chewables I tried to get him to take. This daily multivitamin gummy comes in 3 flavors: Orange, Cherry and Mixed Berry. My son says he likes the taste. I just like that he is getting a dose of vitamins his body might be missing since his diet is lackluster. These vitamins may actually help fill many of the key nutrient gaps from your kids’ diet and support overall health.†

  • Contains 12 essential nutrients for age-specific nutritional support, including vitamins A, C, D and E, B
vitamins, and minerals like iodine and zinc
  • All natural fruit flavors
  • Colors derived from natural sources –No synthetic dyes
  • No preservatives or yeast
  • Gluten free

My son actually ASKS ME DAILY for his vitamin. He seems to enjoy it. And I don’t know if this is a “last child” thing or what, but for some reason he also LOVES that there is vitamins JUST FOR HIM. No having to share with his big sister. (She has a better diet with more fruits and veggies thankfully).

If you are a parent that is struggling trying to get your child to take their vitamins, I suggest thinking about switching to a gummy variety if your Doctor says it’s okay. While I continue to try to get my son to try new food that can help his vitamin and mineral intake, I am SO glad I don’t have to fight him to take his vitamin anymore! <3 It will be nice to have a head start on Back To School with this boy and his health!
