The Walking Company has, for the second year in a row, has begun a “Walking For Hope” Campaign. From donations of a portion of sales of their exclusive Pink Ribbon Collection shoes, they hope to top their 2011 total of $200,000 to hit their goal of $250,000, with proceeds going to City of Hope and over 100 charities nationwide. The company is very proud to support Breast Cancer Awreness and Research and I am very proud to be a blogger for the company, because I love the product and they are great to work with.
The pink ribbon collection includes these special shoes:
UGG® Australia ‘Bailey Button’ boots and ‘Dakota’ slippers, Dansko ‘ProXP’ clogs, ABEO ‘Balboa’
sandals and ‘SMARTsystem’ walking shoes, the ECCO ‘Biom Lite’ trainers, and Aetrex orthotic
TWC sent me the Dankso Pr XP Pink Ribbon Swirl clogs, as they remembered my last review of the Dansko Pro XP clogs I reviewed during my culinary classes. These shoes are just as comfortable as the patent black ones only with about ten times more cute. As serious as I am sitting here today, I get compliments on these shoes every.single.time I wear them!
Pink is my favorite color anyway and I love them, they look cute on me and they are just SO comfortable. If I ever get lucky enough to work with my favorite chefs again they better be letting me sport my pink shoes in the kitchen! Its so cool to have someone tell me every day that they love my shoes! When I pair them with my BCA tee they know I mean business, that I am a seriously fashionista that supports the awareness and research for Breast Cancer. I don’t know anybody close to me that has had it but as a woman, I am united with my sisters worldwide and support THEM.
Buy It: 5% of the proceeds from sales of the adorable Dansko Pink Ribbon Swirl clogs goes right to the Walking Company’s campaign to fight for breast cancer awareness, research, treatment and education. You can buy these clogs and any of the other Pink Ribbon Styles exclusively at The Walking Company
