Wow, Baby Gear Sure Has Changed Over The Years

It’s been a very long time since I had a baby around. In fact my oldest baby is turning 20 in less than a week. My youngest baby is nearing 9 years old. I am not having anymore children, and I am not eager to have grandchildren yet either. This doesn’t stop me from looking at the latest trends for new parents. I mean, I am a huge planner and need ideas from start to finish. This is why I am glad to have been introduced to a site called The Baby Cubby.

This is not just an online baby store portal, this site actually takes the time to guide you through the stages, by doing all the research for you, and choosing the top picks for products. My kids are older and I still don’t have time to just click endlessly and research. We are a go generation and it’s nice to have a site that sees this and knows what we need as busy parents. The Baby Cubby also has traditional brick and mortar store too in Lindon, Utah, and provide a nice personal service to make the shopping experience unique.

Along with baby gear, the store sells some of the sweetest decor for the walls from Petal Lane

I love how the inspirational sayings aren’t just for babies, I can totally apply them to my older kids too!

Some of the other items that caught my eye for a someday grand-baby :

Mamaroo by 4 Moms. I always hated swings and bouncers and to be honest my kids weren’t big fans either. This contraption moves around more like an actual human, helping keep bebe happy.

Breeze Play Yard from 4 Moms, for that portable crib need!

Baby Jogger City Mini Jogging stroller. I had a jogging stroller with my last baby and I loved that thing! Life got so much easier to navigate when I had a stroller that was seemingly perfectly built for my needs. I had a stroller made more to withstand my country life, but jogging strollers in general are just good to have.

Muslin Swaddle Blankets, I couldn’t live without these! These are from Little Unicorn.

Boon High Chair

How cute is this hedgehog rattle?

And of course when I am a grandma someday I want the best carseat. And wishful thinking, because I NEVER got to have pink gear when my daughter was a baby 14 years ago, I am secretly hoping my first grandchild might be a girl so I can use this pretty Maxi-Cosi Pria convertible car seat in my car.

Naturally there are other things that babies need, but as a mom of three and possibly a grandmother in the next 5 years MAYBE, I know these are the essentials I will need as a Grandma. Clothes, bottles, and toys, all that small stuff happens during baby showers but not everyone likes to help buy the big things. These are my personal picks from The Baby Cubby. They have gear to fit many different budgets including high end. It is always nice to have a choice!

Are there any must have items you would add to my list as a new mom or grandmom?
