I’ve had the pleasure of throwing my daughter some creative and inspired birthday parties over the years thanks in part to some help from Oriental Trading Company. Aside from having literally any kind of party favor known to man, Easter basket fillers and more, they have a LOT of themed party supplies. This year I wanted to do something different being that my daughter would turn 14. She is an amazing artist, digital mostly for now, so I suggested an art party and thanks to Oriental Trading, I had almost everything I needed for her party.
Let me show you some of my favorite details!
Okay now this treat holder centerpiece really MADE the table. It took a minute to put it together, the little paper cones took a little bit longer but it was super effective for the theme. I love the brush at the top! (I got the gumballs from Oriental Trading too!)
Seriously how CUTE are these paint palette pops?
This sign might be my favorite because it so fits my daughter, she is always ALWAYS drawing and creating and I encourage her to keep at it. My bio-dad was an award winning painter, it’s definitely in her genes and she showed talent at an early age.
This cake was something I wanted to try after seeing many versions of it online. I had made rainbow cake and cupcakes before and while they are colorful, I didn’t want to do a repeat. This cake couldn’t be more easy. I got the idea from Food.com.
Overall this might have been one of my favorite parties because it was small, just family and Alyssa’s best friend. They had a lot of fun painting at her party, and of course my little artist has a lot of stuff for her art supplies stash now, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with 🙂
