That’s right folks, Bottersnikes & Gumbles, the old children’s books based on a fictional world created by humans rusted things or unwanted stuff, come to Netflix! I had the chance to screen a couple of episodes before hit hit Netflix last week and I was hooked right along with my 7 year old! It’s already been airing in Australia and the UK and now you can see it too!
The Bottersnikes are always trying to catch their sworn enemy, the clever Gumbles, these adorable creatures with super hairy ears! What I like is how Gumbles will band together as a team to get rid of the pesky Bottersnikes. Also the Bottersnikes are supposed to be these giant meanies but you find when they are being NICE they actually shrink to the size of the Gumbles and even their voices get higher. The funniest parts is always the Bottersnikes getting the boot in so many different ways like a catapult that shoots them over the river back to the junk yard they live in LOL.
If your kids are looking for something new and fun to watch, this is your show. The animation is pretty breathtaking, definitely not your typical cartoon. One of the best things about the show is that I feel okay letting my kids watch it because it isn’t horribly violent and the characters aren’t super mean and rotten to eachother. They don’t even know why they are enemies, its just a cute show 🙂
