Vanilla Caramel Creme French Toast feat. International Delights Creamer

My favorite all time food for Christmas morning is and always has been french toast. I wanted to try something more than cinnamon and syrup so I decided to go french and make it rich and delicious. Oh and its still simple πŸ™‚

 

Vanilla Caramel Creme French Toast

6 bread slices (use a nice thick country bread)

3 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup International Delights Vanilla Caramel Cremeflavored creamer

pinch of lemon zest

Caramel (jarred or home made)

Combine all ingredients except the caramel in a large bowl with a whisk. Put your bread slices in until they are soaked through

Fry the bread until just brown

Topping 2 Ways: If you want to go for a straight caramel topping just pour it on (note, to make homemade caramel at home combine 1/2 sugar and 1/2 c water and heat it up until boiling without stirring and wait for the color to turn amber)

Alternatively for a really rich and creamy topping (that is DELICIOUS ON WAFFLES!) add 1/2 c. of the International Delights Vanilla Caramel Creme creamer to the caramel and wisk thoroughly until combined in a nice thick creamy sauce.

  5. It looks very yummy , to be honest I never tried French toast as a meal. I really don’t know how it taste, but as I look at the photo you have shared I think its sweet, I really appreciate the recipe you have shared I might try this during my day-off.
